Arsenic/Petroleum Source Removal

ep3, inc. conducted assessment and source removal of arsenic and petroleum contaminated soils at this former citrus processing facility located in Lake County, Florida.

Before

Two separate areas of soil contamination were identified, delineated, and remediated on this 75-acre property. A citrus processing facility formerly operated on the property and the contamination was a result of activities associated with that facility.

After

Post excavation groundwater quality sampling was conducted to verify that the contaminated soil had not adversely impacted the groundwater at the site. The property is earmarked for the development of a residential community.

Phase I/Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for Statewide Hotel Developer

Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), in accordance with ASTM E1527-05 Standards, were completed at several properties throughout the state. Phase II ESAs were required on some of the sites to determine if the properties had been adversely impacted by historic site activities.

Before

ep3, inc. has been retained by a statewide hotel developer to complete several Phase I ESAs for proposed hotel sites throughout the state. When necessary, Phase II ESAs have been conducted to evaluate the presence of potential contamination to the site soil and/or groundwater.

After

Construction has been completed on 7 hotel sites and a total of approximately 40 are planned throughout the state of Florida.
